Chen Hui holds a doctorate in history and now serves as an associate professor of Department of History and graduate student supervisor at Nanjing University. He is engaged in education and research on history of modern and contemporary European international relations, history of the Soviet foreign policy, history of relations between China and the outside world, and history of the Cold War. His major publications include his monograph Soviet-German Relations between 1933 and 1941 (Nanjing University Press, 2005), his jointly-edited books British Culture and Diplomacy (World Affairs Press, 2002) and International Relations Review (Nanjing University Press, 1999), and he has had a dozen papers published in academic journals in China. He is now undertaking the sub-project “Russian Diplomacy in the Post-Cold War International System” under the “Economic Globalization and International Relations Project” at Nanjing University, the innovative base for philosophy and social sciences in “985 Project” funded by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. Research He is engaged in research on the history of Soviet diplomatic relations, history of international relations, history of relations between China and the outside world, and Sino-Russian diplomacy. He has published a monograph Soviet-German Relations Between 1933 and 1941, participated in the compilation of British Culture and Diplomacy, History of World Civilizations and published dozens of academic papers in recent years.
